You will see a variety of comedians, from beginners trying their hand at comedy (sometimes they are the funniest) to established comics unveiling new material & comedians auditioning to perform at the Comedy Showcase.

Mike Bonner has been a powerhouse in comedy for over three decades, with credits that include appearances on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, BET’s ComicView, and Jamie Foxx’s Laffapalooza.Known for his magnetic stage presence and razor-sharp wit, Mike blends high-energy storytelling with quick observational humor. His material often draws from real-life experiences—family, relationships, and everyday struggles—delivered with a smooth Detroit flavor that resonates across generations.

Comedy Nerdz Happy Hour

Come early. Get nerdy. Stay for the show. Comedy Nerdz is a pre-show happy hour for stand-up fans and comedy-curious folks who want to meet the comics before they hit the stage. Hang out in the Laugh Lounge and meet some of the performers from the 11/5 Comedy Jamm open mic—no panels, no pressure, just comics being delightfully awkward in public. Bo Johnson

Bo Johnson has been featured on Netflix Is A Joke Radio, Kevin Hart Presents: Hart of the City on Comedy Central, Don’t Tell Comedy Secret Sets, LOL Live! at Just For Laughs in Montreal, and more. He was a finalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition, and regularly appears at top festivals including Bumbershoot, SF Sketchfest, the Double Down Experience, Life Is Beautiful Las Vegas, Rifflandia, and the Big Pine Comedy Festival in Phoenix.

Cy Amundson

Cy Amundson has been seen on Conan, Comedy Central’s This Is Not Happening, and Adam Devine’s House Party, as well as heard on The Bob & Tom Show. He was named CMT’s Next Big Comic, appeared as a New Face at Just For Laughs in Montreal, and was a finalist at the Great American Comedy Festival. In addition to stand-up, Cy hosts the popular sports-comedy podcast The Cy Amundson Show and co-hosts Middle of Somewhere with fellow comedian Chad Daniels.

Mike Stanley

Mike Stanley has been lighting up stages across the U.S. for nearly two decades. He’s appeared at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, TBS’s Just For Laughs Chicago, The San Francisco Comedy Festival, Funny or Die’s Oddball Comedy Fest, and The Adam Carolla Show. Mike’s comedy is high-energy, unapologetic, and razor-sharp — the kind that hits hard and stays with you. Be warned: Mike Stanley’s comedy isn’t for the faint of heart — but if you love it real, raw, and relentlessly funny, this is one show you don’t want to miss.

Rob Haze has appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Adam Devine’s House Party on Comedy Central and the Viceland show Flophouse. His screen credits include writing and performing on the sketch series Sherman’s Showcase on IFC/Hulu and writing for major live-television events like the BET Awards. He has also appeared in shows such as South Side, Good Times and the special The Roast of Tom Brady.

New Years Eve with Jason Jamerson

Jason Jamerson was voted Metro Times Best Comedian in Detroit and was winner of the Cleveland Comedy Open. He produced his 2016 show entitled This Should Be A Comedy Special, which has become an annual staple for the metro Detroit comedy scene ever since. With a style that blends sharp wit, storytelling, and an unmistakable Detroit edge, Jason brings honesty and charisma to every stage. Ring in the the year at the Comedy Showcase with the dynamic & charismatic Jason Jamerson!!

Comedy Writing & Performance Workshop

6-Week Course | Beginner-Friendly | Culminates in a Live Showcase. Whether you’re a beginner ready to craft your first “tight five” or a seasoned comic looking to refine your material, this 6-week workshop is designed to elevate your comedy. Through weekly sessions, you'll explore essential topics such as joke structure, comedic style, point of view (POV), timing, stage presence, and delivery. Each class includes opportunities to perform your material in a supportive, collaborative environment that encourages experimentation and growth. Beyond writing jokes, this workshop helps strengthen overall communication skills—building confidence, enhancing stage presence, and learning how to authentically connect with an audience using humor as a tool. The course culminates in a live performance at the legendary Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase, where students take the stage and share their work with a live audience.
