It will be a comedy cavalcade as we present the current rising stars in the Detroit Metro area and beyond. You will see a variety of comedians, from beginners trying their hand at comedy (sometimes they are the funniest) to established comics unveiling new material & comedians auditioning to perform at the Comedy Showcase.

Dobie Maxwell & Vince Carone

Dobie Maxwell has appeared on The Late Late Show w/Ferguson, Comedy.tv, and the documentary That Asian Thing. He has also been seen on The Oprah Winfrey Show and Entertainment Tonight. He's acted The Amateur Monster Movie and While You Were Sleeping. Also appearing , Vince Carone has been seen on Tubi, TBS, and heard on Chicago’s Mancow in the Morning and WGN Radio. His most recent special, Bad Father, has garnered strong reviews, showcasing his unique perspective on fatherhood and family life. You won't want to miss as these two comedic forces join together on the Comedy Showcase stage for a whirlwind comedy night !

Christian Royce

Christian Royce is the next comedic genius to grace the zeitgeist! Hailing from southeast Michigan as a suburban comic searching for his edge (he started comedy in a vegan pizza shop, for Christ’s sake), he’s since left the Washtenaw County area for the Chicago comedy scene, where he’s opened for Al Jackson, Mike E. Winfield, and the legendary Dave Attell. Currently, he’s a regular face at The Laugh Factory, Zanies, and The Comedy Bar, he’s the mastermind behind the very popular F*ck You Show.

Nate Fridson

Nate Fridson has performed at notable festivals such as the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival in Atlanta and was a semi-finalist at the prestigious New York Comedy Contest. A fast-rising star emerging from the vibrant comedy scene of Detroit. Known for his sharp writing and relatable delivery, Nate has quickly gained recognition for his unique, original voice. A master of sarcasm, Nate seamlessly blends his biting humor with personal storytelling, tackling everything from the deeply personal to the absurdly surreal with unapologetic candor. His comedy album, Best Guy so Far, was released to critical acclaim, and is available on multiple streaming platforms.

Larry Reeb

Larry Reeb can be heard regularly on The Bob and Tom Show, XM Satellite Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio. He has performed in Chicago Comedy Fest, the Chicago Music Awards, the Las Vegas Comedy Fest, Last Comic Standing and Summerfest in Milwaukee. He was voted Chicago Comedian of the Year, as well as Best of Fest and Comedy Club Pick. Known as Uncle Lar, Larry Reeb is the wise-cracking black sheep, politically incorrect relative everyone knows.

John Heffron*Special Engagement*

As seen on Netflix, Amazon Prime, John Heffron has appearances on The Tonight Show, Chelsea Lately, The Late Late Show, HBO, FX, VH1, A&E, CMT and many more. Long before emerging victorious in the second season of NBC’s hit reality competition Last Comic Standing, Heffron first took the stage at the Main Street Comedy Showcase. He soon found himself skipping night classes to pursue his passion and branching into FM radio, serving as Q95.5 Danny Bonaduce’s wingman on Detroit’s Number One morning show, Danny Bonaduce and the Q Crew.

Chastity Washington

Chastity Washington is a seasoned stand-up comedian with a career spanning over 25 years. Her sharp wit and magnetic stage presence have landed her appearances on BET Comic View, Coming to the Stage, and HBO’s Def Jam. She was a finalist in NBC’s Stand-Up Diversity Showcase and took home top honors as the winner of the 2015 HBO American Black Film Festival’s Comedy Wings Competition. Washington has brought her talents to prestigious stages across the country, including the TBS Just for Laughs Festival and the Martha's Vineyard Comedy Fest. Her first stand-up special, Live at Dandy, is now streaming on Amazon Prime and Tubi.

Andy Pitz

Andy Pitz has been seen on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, CBS Star Search and Comedy Central. He’s released several comedy albums, including Tell Me You Got That, I Should Know Better, and Out For Delivery, all available on major streaming platforms. A seasoned stand-up veteran, Andy has performed internationally and appeared at comedy festivals across the U.S., earning a reputation as a polished and dependable pro. His clean, clever material continues to make him a favorite with both live audiences and TV bookers alike.

Closed for the 4th of July Holiday
