It’s the return of our dear friend and comedian Chili Challis. He’s a former staff writer  for NBC’s “Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” With a stand-up comedy career spanning over two decades, Chili has also written for Pulitzer Prize-winning political cartoonist and humorist Mike Peters, and for the national comic strip “Mother Goose and Grimm” as well as other famous stand ups and for the nationally syndicated radio show “The Bob and Tom Show.” He is also the “sensei” or “professor” of our hugely popular comedy class “Chili’s Comedy Dojo” taught right here at the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase. The 5 week comedy class culminates with a Graduation Show held on our stage. During the classes, Chili is developing a show called “Selling Laughs,” a reality show based on the trials and tribulations of learning stand up comedy, with plans to sell it to TV.
