Hailing from the rich comedy grounds of Chicago's legendary 'Zanies Comedy Club,' Dwayne Kennedy has a diverse background in stand-up, TV and writing. Recently he wrote for and appeared in the Chris Rock-produced 'Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell' on FX including the featured segments 'Citizen Dwayne' and 'A Cranky Moment with Dwayne Kennedy.' He's unusually good at connecting with audiences and his act offers hilarious perspectives on social and world views. Some additional credits include 'The Late Show with David Letterman,' Jimmy Kimmel & Conan, his own half-hour specials on Showtime & Comedy Central, and appearances on hot 90s sitcoms like 'Seinfeld' and 'Martin.' He's also a former winner of the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. For more info on Dwayne [click here].

Don't miss a true renaissance man of comedy this week at the Comedy Showcase!

We're FINALLY open at our new location!

We areexcited to bring stand-up comedy back to Ann Arbor after so many months and appreciate the efforts of our new building managers to help push for us to open while construction continues on the building. Please keep in mind that many of the shared spaces at our new location are works in progress and know that we appreciate your patience in the meantime. The elevator will be one of the final pieces of construction and will not be completed until all of the residential space has been finalized (an additional 1-2years we are told), which means we are not currently handicap accessible. We apologize in advance for this inconvenience and look forward to full accessibility in the future!
